Thanks so much for tranxfer solution. I believe that the transfer tool has been abandoned in favour of the xdcam browser which I don't like but maybe worth trying as well.

Mar 27, I have discovered that frames were skipped, and because of anv the video can't keep up with the audio. Anyone have an idea why the sound is in advance of the picture?
This is because my MacBook Pro is apparently not fast enough for the X footage. I've even gone as far as to take the converted footage plugln import it into another FCP7 system and it plays without the digtial hits just fine. I was given all the footage directly off the camera onto an ext harddrive.
Reply Helpful Thread reply - more options Link to this Post. It stopped working wth FCP 6. User profile for user: You need to tell us what hardware you are using. Personally I always allow FCP to set the sequence settings to avoid human error. The footage comes in out of sync.
